Exciting news today if you’re commuting on Dublin’s M50 regularly – plans for a Drive-In cinema have just been announced.
Rather than deal with the chronic congestion problems, The National Road’s Authority (NRA) is going to try and improve your experience while sitting in your car for hours on end, for a journey that should only take “20 fucking minutes”.
7 screens will be installed along both the north and south routes, with the largest screen being set up at the Red Cow junction.
The huge IMAX screens will feature the latest blockbusters, so rather than smash your face into the steering wheel out of frustration, you can distract yourself with the latest international releases.
Warning
Payment will be taken directly off your registration plate and users are reminded to make sure they pay before 8pm the following evening to avoid even further charges being applied.
All commuters who use the routes during the cinema showing times will be charged, regardless of whether they have watched the movie or not.
